Final Exam

In my senior year looking back, I've only had one art class. This year. This art class has shown me a lot of things, but the biggest one is that something can start off pretty ugly looking and step by step slowly become something amazing. Paintings starting out as only a drawn outline, the adding paints and charcoal and shading, it soon becomes something completely different. Art class has provided me with a different view on art and how to make it. How difficult some of it can be, but how you can also excel in a certain aspect. The benefit I received from this class is that of patience. Sticking with something when you don't care about it anymore, and taking your time with things you're excited to do.

Time Capsule

I chose this way to design my time capsule because German has been a big part of my high school career. I chose the blue because it's my favorite color.

I put the American flag because it represents the county I live in and will be defending in my career in the Marine Corps, which also is why I put the Marine Corps portion on it.

The item I put in my box was a Rubik's Cube because this gave me a big deal of trouble in learning how to solve it. Once I solved it I then moved onto other, more challenging puzzles of similar build. This cube has gotten me extra credit and helped me pass time. It makes me think more rather than mindlessly watch tv or something.
